Cloud Service Connection Problems for Mac and iOS Users
Timeline:
Start: Dec 29th, ~12AM EST
Resolution: Dec 29th, ~4AM EST

What Happened:

During the incident, Jump Desktop for macOS and iOS started rejecting our cloud provider's (Amazon) security certificate. We have confirmed that the certificate was valid. We have replaced the Amazon certificate with a temporary one to restore functionality while we investigate.

Impact:
• Newly launched macOS and iOS clients were unable to connect to the cloud.
• Existing macOS and iOS instances that were connected were unaffected.
• Windows clients were unaffected.

Next Steps:

macOS and iOS share the same code to validate certificates. We're investigating why it started rejecting Amazon's certificate.
